She has swum for years and is bored of it. A cousin's training videos started this, and she has been shadow boxing in the corridor for a week. I'd like a place with a proper coach, a few girls in the batch and a weekday evening slot. Begumpet, Ameerpet or Somajiguda would work. What should I watch for at a trial class? I know nothing about the sport.
no boxing names from me, sorry. a few girls in my school took up kickboxing last year. two quit in a month, one is now the calmest kid in her class. give it a month before buying any gear.
I did karate from 13 to 16 back in Surat, and for the first year I was the only girl in my batch. It was fine, but even two other girls would have kept me going longer. Ask for a trial and look at who else is there, not only at the coach.
That's my worry too, her being the only one. We've booked a trial on Thursday at a place in Ameerpet. I'll look at the batch as well as the coach, thank you.
