My 12 year old read 63 reviews before buying a ₹150 water bottle

She has been saving her pocket money since April and decided her first proper purchase would be a water bottle for school. I expected this to take ten minutes. It took four days. She compared capacity, whether the lid leaks when the bag is upside down, and whether the paint chips. She read 63 reviews, and she knows it was 63 because she counted. At one point she asked me whether 'arrived on time' should count as a review of the bottle or of the delivery. Testing is literally my job. No idea where she gets this from.

My brother is the exact opposite. He bought earphones because the reel had nice music in it. They died in a week and he still says they were good value 😂 Your daughter is going to be fine with money.

My younger brother was the same as yours. Anything with 'sale' on it, he would buy. Ammi used to hide her purse when he came home 😄

Enjoy it while it's a ₹150 bottle. Mine did the same for a pen. Then he did it for a phone, and I lost two weekends to his comparison spreadsheet.
