My 12 year old now marks my grocery lists with a red pen

He found a red pen in his new class 7 stationery and has decided the household needs an examiner. This week's list came back with 'curd' circled ('quantity?'), 'vegetables' underlined twice ('too vague, minus one') and a small tick next to 'biscuits'. I correct papers for a living. I have never felt so seen.
