Move before the baby comes, or stay put through the first few months?

We're in Pune, I'm due early next year, and we have a 5 year old. Our current flat is ten minutes from both our offices, which has made the last few years very easy. The problem is that the help we've arranged for after the birth lives across the city, and the commute either way is close to an hour. The options are: move now, in the third trimester, to somewhere near the help and further from work; or stay, manage the travel, and move once the baby is a few months old. I've made a comparison sheet and it is not deciding anything for me. Practical experience from anyone who moved around a birth, or chose not to, would help more than the sheet.

I had my daughter five months ago, so this is fresh. In the first three months you won't be going to the office at all, and you'll barely leave the house. What matters in that time is how quickly someone can reach you, not how far the office is. That would push me towards being near the help. But moving in the last trimester sounds rough. If you can, move before the very end, or stay and get the help to stay over in the early weeks. I'd honestly cross off 'move with a newborn' as an option 😅
