Left the girls alone for one Saturday afternoon. The 16 year old gave the 8 year old a fringe.

Partner and I were out for three hours. Came back to a new hairstyle, a towel full of hair on the balcony and two very proud girls. The fringe is not straight. Neither is the explanation ('she asked'). The little one loves it and has been checking herself in every shiny surface since, including the microwave door 😂

Fringes grow out faster than you'd think. In four weeks nobody will remember it except the photos.

Ha, the class photo is now my fear. Hers is sometime in July. Already looking up how fast fringes grow.

Did the 16 year old charge for it. Could be a business

At least it was the older sibling. Ours was the toddler with the craft scissors, on her own head 🤷
