learning support teacher left mid term and the school hasn't said what happens to the reading group

daughter is 8, class 3, cbse school here in greater noida west. since july she's been going to a small reading group with the school's learning support teacher twice a week. it was helping, she started reading on her own at bedtime. that teacher has left. we found out from my daughter, not the school. there's a new person apparently but sessions haven't restarted and nobody has told us anything 🤷 i don't want to go in complaining about someone who just joined. how do i ask what the plan is without it sounding like that

Ask the coordinator, not the new teacher. Something like "my daughter was in the reading group, could you tell me when it restarts and whether anything changes?" It's a question about the schedule, not about the person.

that wording is good. we had a gap like this at my son's preschool when a teacher left, and asking about the timetable rather than the teacher kept it from getting awkward

used almost exactly that line in an email to the coordinator yesterday. reply came this morning, sessions restart after the break with the new teacher and she'll meet parents first. not much detail but at least there's a date
