Some parents at daycare are complaining about a shadow teacher in the room. I want to say something

There's a child in my son's daycare group who has a shadow teacher with him. Totally ordinary from where I'm standing; my 2 year old just thinks there's an extra auntie who's good at songs. In the parents' group a couple of people have started asking whether it 'disturbs the routine' for the others and whether our fees are paying for it. Nobody has said anything outright nasty, but it's heading that way. The child's parents are in the group. I want to post something supportive without starting a fight or making that family the centre of it. Has anyone handled this in a group? What did you write?

There's been a shadow teacher in my son's class since KG and the whole class basically gets an extra adult out of it. Ours doesn't even notice anymore. If you do write, keep it to your own kid, like 'my son loves having one more teacher around', and don't argue the policy part. People back off when it isn't a debate 🙂
