Is June too soon for our two and a half year old to start playschool, or have we already missed it?

Our daughter started playschool at nearly three and a half, so with her we never thought about it this early. Now every parent in our building group seems to have a two year old 'confirmed' somewhere for June, and Aai asks on every call why the little one is still at home with the caregiver. He's happy at home. Talks non-stop in Marathi and English, goes to the park every evening, bosses his tai around. I don't see what he's missing. But I also don't want to wake up in December and find we've made nursery harder for 2027 by skipping a year. Did your second one start later than the first? Any regrets either way?
