ICSE daughter wants humanities in 11th, and her school's ISC only has science and commerce

Our daughter, in class 10 now, has told us, quite firmly, that she wants humanities in class 11: history, political science, psychology if possible. Her ICSE school offers only science and commerce at the ISC level. So the choice seems to be another ISC school, a CBSE school, or an intermediate college that offers humanities. I travel for work, so I would like to understand the process before the board exams take over everything. When did families start looking for an 11th-grade switch? And do schools here admit into humanities on the class 10 result alone, or is there an interview or test as well?

Before the school search, one question. Has she looked at what she'd study in those subjects for two years, or is the choice mainly 'not science and not commerce'? Both are fine reasons, but they lead to different schools. Ours is in class 10 too. We asked him to name three subjects he'd pick and why. It took him a week.
