son is 18, first term at college. he's fine. eating, going to class, sends the odd photo of mess food. but the daily call is now a sunday call, and the sunday call is 6 minutes. my partner is taking it harder than me. or i'm pretending. what rhythm did you end up with that both sides kept?
Reading this one closely. We're thinking about a residential school for our son from 11th and this is exactly the part I'm scared of. Mana intlo the dinner conversation is already mostly 'hmm' 🙂 Was Sunday his idea or yours?
son's 15 and already talks to us mostly in the car, not at dinner. if i were you i'd keep the sunday call and stop counting the minutes. six minutes where he picks up is not nothing
