How does KG pick-up work at St. Marys High School, Mehdipatnam? Thinking ahead to 2027

We might move closer to Masab Tank next year for my partner's office, and St. Marys in Mehdipatnam keeps coming up for our younger son, who would join LKG in June 2027. My older boy has always taken the school bus, so I've never done a KG pick-up. Do parents collect the little ones from the classroom, from a gate, or is there a van? And can a caregiver collect on the days I can't? Would love to hear from anyone whose little ones are there ♥

I can't speak for St. Marys. Generally, ask how they check who is collecting. Most schools keep a list of authorised adults with photos, and some issue pick-up cards. If a caregiver will collect, get her on that list from day one rather than adding her in a hurry later.

  The photo list is exactly how it worked at our daughter's school. We added our caregiver and my father in the first week and it saved us more than once.

Before choosing a school, is the move itself certain? A year is a long time, and offices move. I'd shortlist schools in both places so you aren't deciding everything in a rush next March.
