Five weeks of us doing every feed, every burp, every 3 am walk up and down the hall. Yesterday she leans over the cot, says something in her sing-song voice, and he gives her this huge gummy smile. It's on the family group with a voice note. My own mother called to ask if it was 'just wind'. 🤷
Get used to it. Our daughter's first word was what my mother-in-law used to call her. Nine years later it still comes up at every family lunch.
In our house my saas takes credit for every good thing, even when it rains on time. Better to let her enjoy it, it keeps everyone happy
