The 'seats filling up' line is the giveaway for me. Every camp we did with our older one ended with that call. What we started doing was waiting two weeks after camp and seeing which one he mentioned without us asking. Usually it's one, sometimes none. Once it was something that wasn't even on the list 🙂

The one he talks about at dinner is usually the one. My younger boy came out of summer camp last year with three 'talents' too, and the only thing he kept bringing up was skating, because of the speed. We went with that, one evening a week, and he still goes. If none of the three comes up on its own, I'd let it rest till the next holidays. He won't lose anything by waiting.

Something that helped us decide was asking each teacher what a child gets out of the first three months, specifically. The chess teacher who could tell us what our daughter would be able to do by October got the slot. The ones who said she will develop did not. Does your son have a favourite among the three, or does he say yes to everything?
