every family video call turns into a comparison with my cousin's baby

they were born three weeks apart. hers sits up, mine topples over like a sack of rice after a few seconds. hers eats everything, mine spits out anything orange. nobody says anything unkind, it's just 'oh, ours did that last month'. i've started ending the calls before the baby part. not sure if that's sensible or just avoiding something.
