Driving to The Jain International School in Medchal from Banjara Hills on a Saturday

My son's school team has a quiz round at The Jain International School in Medchal next Saturday, and parents are expected to do the drop. I've never been to that side beyond the ORR, and the maps app shows anything from 50 minutes to an hour and a half. Has anyone done this drive on a weekend morning? And for anyone who's attended an inter-school event there, do parents usually wait on campus or is it better to find somewhere nearby for a couple of hours? I'll have my one year old with me, so it matters a bit :)

I haven't been inside that campus, so I can't tell you about waiting arrangements. On the drive itself: we went to Medchal for a family function on a Saturday last year, leaving Madinaguda around 8. The ORR portion was quick. The stretch after the exit, through the town, was where the time went. From Banjara Hills I would allow at least an hour and a quarter, plus a margin for the reporting time. With a one-year-old, I'd also plan for the wait to happen in the car, in case parents are not allowed in.

That helps, thank you. An hour and a quarter it is, and I'll pack the car as if we're going on a trip. If they let parents stay inside I'll be pleasantly surprised.
