someone at a birthday party mentioned the school and we're looking at options for next year. daughter's current school says it "does trips" but the last one she remembers was in class 1. not expecting anything big. a museum, a farm, anything. hoping parents there can say whether the younger classes go out at all during the year
Not a parent there. When we were choosing, I asked each school when the last trip was and where it went. "We do trips" and "class 4 went to the science centre in February" turned out to be very different answers.

Also ask how they handle the permission note and who goes along. In my experience a school that sends a clear note a week ahead, with timings and what to pack, usually runs the day itself well too. Mine still talk about a zoo visit from their primary years ❤
