Did one school for both kids make your mornings easier, or not really?

My younger son is 5 and in UKG at a preschool that also runs a primary section. The older one, 8, is at a different school here in Madinaguda, which opened its 2027-28 applications this week. The obvious argument for moving him is one drop-off, one calendar, one set of holidays. I handle most of this myself, with help from our caregiver, so that is not a small thing. The argument against is that he is settled, he has two close friends, and his teachers clearly know him well. There have been a couple of sibling-school threads this week, but mine is only about the day-to-day, so I'd value hearing from people who have done it. Did the sibling convenience hold up in practice? Were mornings really easier with both children in one school, or did different timings for the junior and senior classes cancel most of it out?
