This year he has separate teachers for each subject and separate notebooks for classwork, homework and "fair". Three times this month he has brought home the wrong one and couldn't do the homework. How did your kids get organised for this?
Not a parent, but I remember this from my own school days in Nizamabad. Timetable stuck inside the cupboard door, bag packed the night before from that, not in the morning. My mother checked it for the first month and then stopped. I still forgot one thing a week, but not three.
My daughter is younger, so I can't speak from experience about class 6. I'm only guessing here, but colour-coding the covers by subject might help, if he is a visual child. Did the school suggest anything at the start of the year? Some teachers have their own systems they would rather parents followed.
