Class 6 means the senior block from June, and he'll be the youngest there again
His school moves class 6 into the senior building, with its own gate, a different canteen and children up to class 12 in the corridors. For the last two years he has been one of the big boys in the junior block, and he liked that more than he admits. He hasn't said he's worried. He has asked three times this week which gate the van will stop at, and whether the older boys use the same staircase. My partner, who is home this year, thinks we should take him to see the building before term starts. I'm not sure a tour of an empty school helps. Did yours make this move easily, or was the first month harder than you expected?
