Class 10 social science project has to be handwritten. All 20 pages.

Project is due in three weeks. Topic is consumer rights, fine. The rule is everything handwritten, no printouts except pictures, minimum 20 pages. My son types everything. His handwriting after page 3 looks like a seismograph 😅 Two evenings in, he's on page 4, mostly because he rewrites a whole page every time he makes a mistake. Is this standard everywhere for class 10? And do schools check whose handwriting it is, because his grandmother has already offered.
