caregiver ties a double knot that nobody can open. not him, probably not his teacher either. velcro till he learns, or make him practise every evening? school starts monday

My elder one had laced shoes in class 1 last year here in Mumbai. We tied an old shoe to a chair leg and she practised ten minutes a day while I was on calls. It took about three weeks. Till then the teacher tied a whole row of them every morning, she said it was normal for that class.
