Elder one learned from his aajoba over the summer holidays and now beats me, my partner and the neighbour uncle. He wants a proper class. Weekend batch near KPHB, nothing very competitive for now. Any suggestions?
Before choosing, I would ask each academy whether the weekend batch is grouped by age or by level. My son once joined one where he was the only beginner among older rated players, and he lost interest within a month. A level-based batch made the difference the second time.
No chess suggestions, ours is only 3. But how did he learn in one summer? I'd love to know what the grandfather did ❤️
Nothing special. One game every morning before the heat, and aajoba made him say why before every move. Very slow at first. By the end of May he was taking his queen.
