Class 12 registration details came home. Name has to match her class 10 certificate exactly. Her Aadhaar has one letter different in the surname, from when we made it years ago. Do we fix the Aadhaar first, or just go by the certificate? School wants the form back in ten days.
Our son's Aadhaar and birth certificate have a spelling mismatch too, so I'm curious. Did the school say which document they treat as final?
My partner teaches senior classes. From what they've seen, the board goes by the class 10 record, and Aadhaar is the one families end up correcting. I would still check with the school office this week. They see many of these before every deadline and will know what their board accepts.
