weekend football batch near kokapet, little ones only. she runs, she kicks, she's very happy. then the coach blows the whistle and she bursts into tears and runs to me. three saturdays now. coach is kind about it but he can't run a class for twelve kids without a whistle. do we stop for a few months or keep going?

My daughter is 6. Since we changed her school she was crying every morning, till the holidays started. So I know this crying very well. What I learnt, if she is happy before and after the noise, it is the noise, not the class. Don't stop the class for one thing. Ask the coach to tell her before he blows it?

Agree, don't stop. My son was scared of the school bell in UKG, we let him ring it once on a visit and it became 'his' bell. Maybe the coach can let her blow the whistle at the end of class?
