16 year old wants to spend her post-board break on a 200-hour yoga teacher course
Her ICSE exams finished last week and she has two months before class 11. A friend's older sister did a yoga teacher training course last year, and now she wants to do the same one, near Madhapur, six days a week, five hours a day. She has done yoga at school and on and off with her mother, and I have nothing against it. My questions are practical. Does a certificate like that mean anything at 16? Will they even take someone her age? Is five hours a day sensible for a teenager who has been sitting at a desk since January? If your child did something this intensive right after boards, I'd like to know what they thought of it by June.
