13yo's friend group has doubled and I don't know half the parents

Daughter's circle has suddenly grown this term. Some of them I've met, the rest I only know by first name. Visits are mostly weekends, sometimes straight after class. Don't want to be the mum who phones every house. But I do want to know where she is and whether an adult is home. What simple system do you use?

My one worry with my son was not knowing if an adult was home. So the only rule we kept was that he sends me the parent's number before he goes, and I send a short hello. Most parents were relieved someone else was doing it too.

The hello message is a good idea, much less awkward than calling. She'll roll her eyes but fine 🥲

what worked with mine was making our house the easy place to come to. snacks, wifi, nobody hovering. i got to know most of the kids and through them the parents without chasing anyone. not every week of course but it helped 🤷‍♀️
