11 yr old ran a blind mango tasting for the family. numbered pieces, scorecards, everything

six kinds from the market, we had to rate sweetness, sourness and 'stringiness' out of 5. my 6 yr old gave every single piece a 5. my partner lost points for guessing names out loud. he's now planning round two with only the ones none of us can pronounce

The 6 year old giving everything a 5 is the best part. Which one won? My mother-in-law says Banganapalli and nothing else, and I would love some proof against her.

and it was the one from the cart outside our gate, not the fancy box. that was the painful part

Ha, this is a better science project than half of what comes in at our school. Did he keep it a fair test? Same knife, same temperature, same plate?

How did he define 'stringiness'? My toddler would have given the seed a 5. He'll chew one for half an hour.

mine did this with biscuits at 12. spreadsheet and all. he's in his twenties now and still rates everything out of 5
