0on Moving across the city in January. Do schools take a class 2 child mid-year?
My sister moved her son in class 2, in November. He was fine within a month. The hardest part was the new school wanting a different handwriting style, not the friends. Kids that age bounce back faster than we do.
4on Daycare pickup has become a chase around the lobby every evening
very normal, sorry 🤷 leaving is a transition and running is his way of saying not yet. we do a fixed goodbye: wave to the slide, wave to the teacher, shoes, out. same order every day. took about two weeks to stick
6on Our toddler runs at every street dog in the lane with both arms out
Very common at this age, the no-fear phase. Practically, keep her hand near dogs and her face away from theirs, because that's where most of the toddler bites I see end up. And yes, keep walking. Just with the hand rule 🤷
1on Power goes off at night twice a week now, and our toddler wakes the moment the fan stops
We had the electrician rewire so the inverter covers the bedroom fan instead of the hall one. Took him about an hour. Cuts here are shorter but the waking-when-the-fan-stops thing seems to be universal 🤷
Two days late to this, did you decide? I'd keep the half hour. Clinic starts at 9 for me and the morning with my son is fixed; everything else moves around it. Once you give that time up it's much harder to get back, because by then it's become everyone's assumption.
