Ours is 17 now. When she was 4 we chose a school for what it would be like in class 10, and then changed anyway in class 6. Choose for the next three or four years, the closeness and the timing. The rest you can revisit.

Good to hear a school doing this. One of our medical reps told me about a doctor on his route who signs with some of his patients, and how the whole waiting room had picked up a few signs. Children pick these things up far faster than we did.

My daughter is 17 now. When she was a baby I was on the road four days a week, so her mother carried most of the nights. What I regret is not taking more of the weekend ones. If your partner is offering, accept it on demo days, but give it back on the other nights. Your partner will remember who showed up.

Tell the parents, yes. When my daughter was small, in our building in Moosapet, one uncle on the ground floor gave all the children glucose biscuits and water every evening. We found out only when she started calling him Biscuit Uncle at home. She is in class 12 now and still stops to talk to him on her way up.
