Little Flower Grammar School for LKG next year. What time do the little ones finish?

sunny_drum_9661

We live in Vanasthalipuram and Little Flower Grammar School is close by. Looking at LKG there for my son next June. I work full time and my caregiver can do one pickup, not two, so the LKG finishing time decides a lot. Parents with little ones in the pre-primary section, roughly what time do they come out? Does it change in the first term?

Whatever answer you get here, confirm it at the office when you collect the form. Pre-primary timings change between years at a lot of schools, and the parent answering online may have had a kid there three years ago 😄

colleague's two kids went there, years back. he liked that it was close and the kids were walking home by class 5. no idea about current timings

Did his children stay there until class 10? Whether families stay or leave around class 5 says more about a school than any timing.

Ours is 17 now. When she was 4 we chose a school for what it would be like in class 10, and then changed anyway in class 6. Choose for the next three or four years, the closeness and the timing. The rest you can revisit.

Doing nursery visits for our younger one ourselves, on the Sainikpuri side, so I can't help with this school. One thing I learnt from our visits: ask whether the first few weeks are a shorter settling-in day. Two schools we saw do that, and it caught a neighbour off guard with her work. Have you checked whether there's any day care option for the afternoons?

we're lb nagar side, son finished school long ago. best thing we did back then was stand outside two schools at dispersal time once. you see how the little ones are handed over and how long parents wait. 15 minutes and you know more than the brochure

ask about the van too even if you plan to pick up yourself. we didn't, and now on bad days the van is the backup we don't have
