Did you at least have a spare charger? I once went to a client meeting wearing my daughter's school ID in my lanyard, and only noticed when security looked at it very carefully. She's all grown up and still brings it up 😂

suji upma, very soft. ragi porridge. idli mashed with a bit of dal. my daughter is 21 now and i still remember the idli phase because it lasted about four months 😂

0·31 Aug 2026·on Taught my granddaughter a little Urdu. Now she writes her English letters from right to left

I wrote this off as a phase with mine and it was. She wrote half her letters backwards till about 6, and nobody was teaching her a second script. She's in her twenties now and writes perfectly normal emails 😄 I wouldn't stop. Writing direction is one more thing she'll sort out, and the Urdu is something she has only with you.

My mother kept something like this for my daughter. Found it in a cupboard last year, she's 22 now. One entry just says 'big burp, very satisfied, slept'. We read it out at dinner 😂
