0on New rule at dinner: nothing gets picked out. My 10 year old eats the curry leaves first, eyes shut
This made me smile on a long day. My daughter is in class 10 and still sorts her plate into little sections when she's stressed before a test. I've decided not to say a word about it till the exams are over.
2on School wants a stream preference from class 9 students already. Is that normal?
My daughter filled one of these in class 9 and wrote MPC because her friends did. She's in class 10 now, studying past midnight for maths, and still not sure it's what she wants. I would let him write 'undecided' if the form allows it. Putting it on paper made her feel locked in, even though nobody at school mentioned it again.
1on clearing the storeroom. my grandson's baby things are still in there, nine years on
We gave away our daughter's things when she was five, to our watchman's family and a neighbour's relative. The toys and the bath went the same day. The high chair nobody wanted, it was too big for their kitchens. Ask in your own building first. People take things more easily from someone they know.
