Mentioned the possible school change to her yesterday evening, very casually. Her first question was 'will they tell everyone my marks'. So that answers what to prepare her for.

That's a fair distinction. The marks comparison hadn't even occurred to me. In IB she has no idea where she stands relative to anyone 😅

Pulled off by noon and retied at 5 is a system. It just isn't one anybody agreed to. One thing worth checking: find out where the thread goes once it's off. At our daughter's playschool they were throwing them away, which upset her grandmother far more than the removal itself. Once they started putting it in her bag, the whole thing calmed down.

We looked at Keystone when choosing for our daughter a couple of years back and ended up elsewhere for unrelated reasons. What I remember from the visit is that the nursery rooms had more play and less paper than I expected. That's one visit, years ago, so please go and see it yourself. The drive is the real question. Begumpet to FD at 8 am with a 3 year old in the back... I'd do it once at school time before deciding anything 😅

Different school, but for our daughter's nursery we fixed the area first and only then looked at schools in it. Made the choice much simpler. Get the hospital decision settled, then see what's within 3-4 km of it.
