Did they actually change the order on the form? Ours had me down as 'mother', first by default, for years 🤷 until I crossed it out myself.

We never had grandparents nearby, so the asking part is beyond me. But half-day playschool worked for us around that age, mostly because she came home tired and napped, which made the afternoon easier for whoever had her.

Eleven sounds like a lot until you see four of them are basically play 🤷 In class 2 our daughter had art, music, PE and library, and she loved those four more than anything else on the list.

We allowed kajal and a tinted lip balm at 11 for a Pujo evening. Nothing terrible happened. She looked like herself, a bit shinier. It hasn't become a school-day thing, mainly because getting ready at 6.30 am is nobody's idea of fun ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
