A family friend in Saroornagar keeps recommending V.D.Prasada Rao Memorial High School, and we're open to a change for our son for class 7 next year. At the moment his evenings are light, maybe forty minutes of work, with time left for football and reading. If your children are in classes 6 to 8 there, roughly how much homework comes home on a weekday? And are weekends mostly free? ♥

    I teach, though not there. A quick way to judge on a visit is to ask to see one week of a class 7 student's diary. The homework 'policy' and the diary don't always match.

    We're weighing a move for our daughter and this is the question I keep coming back to as well. Every school says 'balanced'. I still don't know what that means in minutes.

      Same. I've started asking for an actual number of minutes. The answers vary a lot, and one school just laughed.
