Where near Tellapur should a 10 year old go for a proper eye check?

My granddaughter spends Tuesday and Thursday afternoons with me after school. Twice now I have noticed her moving closer to the television, and when I asked, she said the board at school is 'a bit fuzzy from the back'. I have told her parents, and they have asked me to take her, since my days are more flexible than theirs. I am unsure about the process. Is a child's eye test something an optician's shop does properly, or should it be a paediatric eye doctor at a hospital? And is there anywhere around Tellapur or Gopanpally where children are seen without a long wait? I would rather not take her across the city on a school day.
