Schools Abids, Hyderabad Oxford High School

What does an ordinary week look like in class 6 at Oxford High School, Abids?

We are considering a change for our daughter at class 6. Oxford High School came up while I was reading about the older schools around Abids, and that is the extent of what I know. I am less interested in the prospectus than in the routine. How much homework does a class 6 child bring home on a normal weekday? Are there weekly tests? How far does the school rely on outside tuition to get through the syllabus? Nagole to Abids is not a short drive, so it would have to be worth it.

dont know oxford but when we were choosing for my son the most useful thing was standing outside at dismissal and asking two or three parents. they told us more in ten minutes than the office did in an hour. there should still be a few school days left before the holidays

  That was good advice, thank you. I went on Thursday at dismissal. Two mothers were happy to talk, although mostly about the drive and the van rather than homework. I will need another visit in June to ask about the classroom itself.
