UKG is screening every child this term. Who sees the results?

A circular came home: a visiting team will do a short developmental screening for the whole UKG section, and parents have to fill in a checklist first. Speech, pencil grip, attention, how she plays with others, that sort of thing. I'm not against it, and nothing about our daughter worries us. My questions are about what happens after. Does the result stay with the class teacher, or go into some file that follows her? Would it come up at class 1 admission somewhere else? And if they flag something, do they call you in or just put it in the report? Has anyone's school done one of these, and what did the follow-up look like?
