Tuition centre near us is offering 'midbrain activation' for 5 year olds. What is that supposed to be?

Pamphlet came with the newspaper. It promises my son will read with his eyes closed, improve memory and concentration, and 'activate the right brain'. Batches for ages 5 to 15, weekends. I'm a doctor and I know of no such thing as activating a midbrain. Two parents from his UKG class have already enrolled. Has anyone seen what really happens in one of these classes, and what exactly did your child get out of it?
