my nephew graduated on saturday. big hall, gowns, three hours of names. my son's going into class 12 and sat through the whole thing without his phone, which surprised me. in the car he said 'everyone's parents looked happier than the students'. then nothing else the whole way. i didn't push. still thinking about it

mine just finished 12th. results last week. same face as those students i think. relief more than happy. maybe that's what he saw

My son graduates this summer and has told us he may skip the ceremony. I was hurt for a day. Then I remembered my own convocation, where mostly I wanted to get the photo done and go and eat. Maybe your son just noticed that the parents were the ones who'd been waiting for it :)
