Three remarks in two weeks for bringing the wrong textbook. Class 7, and the timetable 'keeps changing'

velvet_lantern_7540

He is 12, organised about most things, and has had three diary remarks since reopening for not having the right book. His explanation is that the timetable changes 'randomly'. His solution so far has been to carry every textbook every day, which I can't let go on. What have other families worked out, with the school or with the child?

First check whether it really changes. Our daughter swore hers changed every week until we sat down with her and found it was pinned on the class board the whole time. The 'random' changes turned out to be two periods a week.

sat with him tonight. not random. it's pinned up in the class and he'd never looked at it. one swap for library on thursdays, that's it. he's annoyed it was that simple.

class 3 here and the timetable swaps already confuse us. ask the class teacher if it can be put on the class group each week. some teachers say yes when it comes from several parents
