Three identical bottles in the preschool lost-property box, and ours was one of them

peach_trail_4294

Found his water bottle in the preschool's lost-property box this week, next to two others exactly like it. The name I wrote on it had washed off. They want names on the bottle, tiffin box, raincoat and spare clothes, and marker lasts about a week. Is there a shop around Secunderabad that makes stick-on or iron-on name labels, or does everyone order online?

A couple of stationery shops near Paradise used to print sticker labels, but I haven't checked in years, so call before you go. For clothes, a tailor can stitch a small cloth tag with his name. That lasted through my daughter's whole primary school.

Which things are coming back without a name? The bottle and box need one. Spare clothes rarely leave the bag. A laundry marker, not a regular one, lasts much longer on fabric.

We ordered online when our son started preschool. A sheet of small vinyl ones for the bottle and box, iron-on ones for clothes. The vinyl ones survived daily scrubbing for most of a year. The iron-on ones peeled at the corners after a few months but stayed readable. Hope the new term is going well for him.
