Thinking about Harrow School in Abids for class 8, if my office moves to that side

plum_gecko_2089

Our office is likely shifting to a client site near Abids from next April. My son is in class 7 now, and I've started wondering if he could ride in with me and study on that side from class 8, instead of the two of us crossing the city in opposite directions. Harrow School is one of the names on that side that goes up to class 10. Do they usually take children in at class 8, and is there an entrance test for that? Anyone who drives from the Puppalaguda or Narsingi side at 7.30 in the morning, how bad is it? Nothing decided. The office move itself is not confirmed yet.

Ha, I'm on a night incident call so reading everything right now. Fair point. If he comes with me we'd have to leave before 7, which might be the only way this works at all.

One thing I'd think through before the entrance test question: what happens on your work-from-home days, or when an incident keeps you late? If the plan depends on him riding with you, those are the days it breaks. Is there any other way for him to get there on those days?

That's the hole in the plan, yes. The hybrid days. I haven't solved it. Probably the transport question matters more than the test. I'll call the school office once our move date is real.
