teenager finishes the 4 yr old's plate before I can see what he ate

every dinner the little one eats three bites and wanders off and the 13 yr old clears whatever is left in about 40 seconds. so I never know if the small one ate or just moved things around the plate told the big one to wait till I've checked. he says he's 'reducing food waste' 🤷
