sr digi dammaiguda, do they have a playgroup or only nursery onwards?

might rent on the ECIL side next year, rents are kinder and we need a bigger place. son is 1. wondering where he'd go for playgroup later and whether it makes sense to pick a flat near a school that has one. anyone know if sr digi in dammaiguda takes kids before nursery? or what age nursery starts there

Age criteria vary by school and sometimes by year. Call the branch, ask what age they need by June for nursery and whether they run a playgroup at all. Ten minutes on the phone.

He's 1. Why pick a flat around a school that far ahead? Playgroups open and close every year. Choose the flat for your commute and your partner's, and sort out the playgroup when he's 2.

fair. it's 4 am and i'm up with him, so maybe i'm overplanning. commute first then

Agree. We chose our flat for a daycare two lanes away. It shut eight months later.

Correct ga cheppindi. We chose by school for our elder one, and the younger one's school ended up in the opposite direction anyway 🙂 At 2, playgroup is mostly about van timings, not the school name.

I'm in Nacharam, so that side of town. Dammaiguda is spread out, and a few kilometres can mean a very different drive depending on which roads you end up using every day. If you do rent there, decide on the commute first and then look at schools and playgroups within a short radius of the flat. When my daughter was small we found several small playgroups around ECIL, so you won't be short of options.

Commute first, agreed. Which direction do the two of you work in? That should decide most of it.
