son wants a bike for second year. the college bus takes 70 minutes each way

first year he took the college bus from attapur. out at 6.50, back by 6. now he wants a bike, says half his class rides and he'd save two hours a day. the route is the ORR and then a stretch that floods every monsoon. i'm not against it. my partner is very against it. so far we've agreed on one thing, he isn't buying one with his own savings without telling us 🤷
