Same-day depends on the lens, not the shop. Ask whether his power is something they keep in stock. If it isn't, nobody will make it in a day whatever they promise you. Does he have an old pair he can use in the meantime?
He has last year's pair, a little weak but he can read the board with it. Will send him with those and get the new ones made properly. I didn't know the stock lens part, thank you.
