son asked me to look at his resume. then ignored every comment

he's 20, third year, applying for internships. sent me his resume on sunday with 'can you check it once'. i spent an hour on it. careful comments, nothing harsh. got the final version yesterday. not one change. he said it was 'useful to see how someone from your generation reads it'. not really asking anything. just sitting with that sentence

    I review CVs for junior doctors at work and get the same response there, politely. The comments that stick are usually the ones they ask about again six months later, when something didn't work out. He kept your hour; it just isn't showing yet.

      six months later sounds about right for him. i'll keep the comments somewhere safe
