Someone in the Vignan Vidyalaya applicants' group says forms close Monday. Do I believe it?

We're in Nizampet and thinking of Vignan Vidyalaya for Class 6 next year for our daughter. She's 10, in an ICSE school now. A parent I met at the park added me to a chat group of families applying there, and it's been a lot. In one week: someone saying forms close on Monday, two different dates for an entrance test, someone else saying there's no test at all, plus good morning messages and a long argument about uniforms. Nothing posted from the school itself. I'm a teacher, I know how these groups go, but em cheyyali, I can't tell what's true. For families who applied there in earlier years, where did the reliable information actually come from? The office, the website, a notice at the gate? I'll call them, just want to know what to ask :)

Different school, same chaos. We're doing nursery admissions for my daughter, and our parents' group has decided on its own that children should know phonics and writing before the interview. I've stopped reading it for anything factual. I call the office and write the date in my diary. The group is only for "did anyone else get the email?" ❤️

  i left a group like that last year after a week. didn't miss anything that mattered. anything important from my son's school came by email anyway

  You were right. Got through to the office today, got one clear answer on the dates and wrote it down. Group is muted. Ippudu peace :)
