Skating class cancelled six times this month for rain. No makeup sessions, no refund

Outdoor rink, monthly fee paid in advance. They message at 4 pm that it's cancelled 'due to weather'. Twice it hadn't rained at our end at all. I asked about makeup classes and got a reply saying the policy is no refund and no carry-forward in monsoon 'as informed at admission'. Nobody informed me. Is this standard for outdoor classes in July, or am I paying for a rink they know they can't use?

The skating place we use in Pune carries forward only if they cancel, not if we skip. Did you sign anything at admission? If not, ask them to show you where it says that.

ask if they'll switch you to pay-per-class for july and august. 'no refunds' tends to soften once you mention leaving
